Originated in what was then the Zurich Jazz School, now integrated into MKZ, the Pre-College Pop / Rock / Jazz looks back on a 20-year success story. To date, over 150 young artists have made the leap to a music college using this vessel.
Long-term lecturers accompany the young cracks personally and intensively for one to two years: Weekly lessons on the main and secondary instrument, theory and aural training courses, and in bands form the basis for this. Further elective modules complete the offer.
Pre-College MKZ offers space for a total of 20 students in the fields of pop / rock / jazz and classical music every year.
